1. Definitions
- “Cookie”— a small text file a website places in your browser to remember information between page loads and visits.
- “Local storage”— a browser feature that lets a site store data persistently in your browser across sessions. Functionally similar to cookies but not sent automatically with every request.
- “Session storage”— like local storage, but cleared when the browser tab is closed.
- “First-party”— set by the domain you are visiting (jmsolutionsapp.com).
- “Third-party”— set by a domain other than the one you are visiting, when content from that domain is loaded on the page.
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for four purposes:
- To make the Site work (essential).
- To remember your privacy choices (essential).
- To understand which pages help prospects (analytics, opt-in).
- To measure which marketing channel led you to us (marketing, opt-in).
3. Categories We Use
3.1 Essential — always on
Required for the Site to load, remember your privacy choices, and keep on-page interactions usable. These cannot be disabled because the Site would not function without them.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | First / Third party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
jm_cookie_consent | Cookie | Remembers your category choices so we do not show the banner on every visit. | 12 months | First |
jm-chat:* | Session storage | Keeps your on-site chat thread alive across page refreshes within a single browser tab. | Until tab is closed | First |
3.2 Analytics — opt-in
Off by default. When you opt in via the cookie banner, Vercel Analytics records aggregate page views, referrers, and performance metrics. No cross-site identifiers. We use this to know which content actually helps prospects.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | First / Third party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vercel Analytics identifiers | Local storage | Aggregate site analytics (page views, referrers, performance). | Up to 12 months; rotated periodically | First (proxied via the same domain) |
3.3 Marketing — opt-in
Off by default. When you opt in, we record which marketing channel introduced you to us (UTM tags, referrers) so we can measure what works. We do not run advertising pixels for cross-context behavioural advertising on this Site.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | First / Third party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
jm_utm | Local storage | Captures UTM parameters from the inbound URL to attribute conversions. | 90 days | First |
4. Third-Party Domains
When you book a discovery call, you are redirected to Cal.com on its own domain. Cal.com sets its own cookies under its own policy. Similarly, if you call or text a J&M-provisioned phone number, the call or SMS is routed through Twilio, ElevenLabs, or Vapi infrastructure under their respective policies. None of those providers set cookies on jmsolutionsapp.com itself.
A complete list of service providers, what they may receive, and their processing locations is in our Privacy Policy§6.
5. Browser-Level Signals
We respect browser-level privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) where they are legally meaningful in your jurisdiction. When such a signal is detected, analytics and marketing categories are treated as opted out.
6. How to Manage Your Choices
You have four ways to control cookies on this Site:
- The cookie banner appears on your first visit and when you ask us to show it again.
- The “Manage cookies” link in the Site footer reopens the banner at any time.
- The button below reopens the banner from this page.
- Your browser settingslet you block or delete cookies for any site — including this one.
7. Cross-Border Notice
Vercel Analytics is operated by Vercel Inc. (United States). When you opt in to Analytics, aggregate event data may be processed in the United States. See our Privacy Policy§7 for the safeguards and U.S. law disclosures that apply to cross-border transfers.
8. Changes to This Policy
We update this page when we add or remove cookies, change durations, or switch providers. The Document-Control block at the top reflects the current version. Where required by law, material changes trigger a fresh consent prompt.
